Wine



Description
Subtly perfumed, with an alluring flavor of apples, pears and elderberries. Similar in style to White Zinfandel. Named after the Maiden's Blush apple, one of over 80 "antique" apple varieties grown in our orchard.

    Fruit
    This wine is made from a blend of apples, pears and elderberries.

    Winemaking
    Apple and pear wines are vinified separately then blended in approximately a 50:50 ratio. Elderberry concentrate is added for color and flavor. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks and bottled with 2-3 percent residual sugar.



    Aging
    This wine is best consumed young but ages well for 1-2 years.

    Food Pairings and Serving Suggestions
    For sipping, as an aperitif or serve with duck or ham.
