    Fruit
We use wild blueberries grown in western Massachusetts and Northern Maine.

    Winemaking
The blueberries are dumped into the fermentin tanks and fermented on their skins until the desired color and flavor extraction are attained. we press off the blueberry must and complete fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is transferred to American oak barrels for 6 months to a year of further fermentation. It is then blended and bottled dry.

    Aging
This wine ages well in the bottle for 3-5 years. We have sampled bottles as old as 12 years from our library that still showed signs of life but not the same as the younger wine.
