Chancellor Port  Port Style Wine

Description Robust and smooth, with plum and cherry notes. A wine that will warm your soul after a long day's work or after a relaxing meal. It has a full bodied texture and light tannins.   Fruit Chancellor grapes from southeastern Massachusetts Winemaking  The wine is fermented to about 15% alcohol then fortified with spirits made from the same grapes. It is aged in American oak barrels for a minimum of 18 months. Aging We have only been providing this wine for two years, but it continues to show excellent aging potential. Food Pairings and Serving Suggestions Perfect compliment to chocolate or raspberry based confections and to flavorful cheeses.  Serve at room temperature.
