The 2014 Picnic Lunch “To Go” season starts soon – look for upcoming details and menu changes.  Once the season starts picnic lunches will be available every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday through the end of  October 2014
except picnics are not offered when the restaurant is closed or on festival days.

Orders may be placed on-line only.  ORDERS PLACED CANNOT BE CANCELLED OR RE-SCHEDULED

Once the Picnic Lunch “to go” season starts our delicious gourmet picnic lunches will be available until the end of October 2014 except when the restaurant is closed for vacation or during our festival days. Our lunches are fresh and prepared daily by J’s, our award winning Zagat rated gourmet winery restaurant and are available on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Picnic Lunches TO GO can be ordered at any time on-line but are available for pick up at the Wine Shoppe only between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Orders for the same day must be placed prior to 2:00 pm. Please allow at least 1 hour from the time of placing your order to the time that you designate for pick up

We invite you to have lunch at one of our picnic tables or winery porch, depending on availability. Enjoy a wine tasting or a bottle of wine or hand-crafted micro-brew from our winery to have with your lunch. The costs of wine tasting and wine or beer purchases are not included in the cost of the picnic lunch menu.

  • Roasted Vegetable Wrap with grilled zucchini, roasted red bell pepper, baby greens and mascarpone on a whole wheat tortilla (vegetarian)

  • Tomato, Basil and Mozzarella Baguette with blueberry wine vinaigrette (vegetarian)

  • Apple Wood Smoked Roast Beef Sandwich with balsamic shallot confit, Smith’s sharp cheddar and horseradish sauce

  • Natural Ham and Smith’s Cheddar on a grilled brioche with baby field greens and remoulade

  • Prosciutto and Peppers with marinated tomatoes, roasted garlic aioli, and banana peppers on French baguette

  • Oven Roasted Turkey with cranberry-chive mayonnaise, baby spinach and Smith’s gouda on grilled Ciabatta

*NOTE Cheese & Charcuterie is only available Thurs – Sun. with 24 hour advance notice. Includes Smith’s Country Gouda, Crystal Brook Chevre, Country Pork Pate, Fennel Salami, Pheasant and Cognac Sausage, Axis Venison Bratwurst, Crackers, Fresh Grapes, Cornichons and Whole Grain Dijon.

Please do not call the restaurant to place Picnic Lunch to go orders.

Orders for the same day must be placed prior to 2:00 pm. Please allow at least 1 hour from the time of placing your order to the time that you designate for pick up.

When you place your order on-line please be sure to state the date and time you want to pick up your order in the “Notes” section of the on-line ordering process. The “Notes” section is on the page where you are required to enter your credit card information. Your orders will be available for pick up at the Wine Shoppe at the time that you specify when placing your order.

You may also place your order in advance of the day that you want it ready by placing the date in the Notes Section. If you do not put a date on the order, we will assume that your order is to be prepared on the date that the order is placed except for orders placed on Monday or Tuesday, we will then assume that you want your order prepared for pickup on Wednesday since the restaurant is not open on Monday or Tuesday.
