Beginning Saturday, April 3rd, 2010 we will once again be offering our Picnic Lunch to Go Menu.  Available every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

except when the restaurant is closed for vacation or during our festivals. 

J's Restaurant WILL BE CLOSED
 Summer Vacation - Closed June 30th, 20010 - Re-open for lunch Wednesday, July 7th, 2010
Closed all day November 25, 2010-  Thanksgiving Day
Closed Friday Evening, December 24th for Dinner and all day Saturday, December 25th, 2010
Closed all day Saturday, January 1st, 2011 - New Year's Day
Winter Vacation January 19th, 2011- Re-open for lunch Wednesday,  February 2nd, 2011

Our delicious gourmet picnic lunches are once again available beginning Saturday, April 3rd, 2010 until October 31st, 2010 except on festival days.  Our lunches are fresh and prepared daily by J’s, our award winning Zagat rated gourmet winery restaurant. Picnic Lunches to go can be ordered at any time on-line but they can be picked up only on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday up until 2 pm. 

Gourmet picnic lunches are $10.00 (plus tax) per person and also include:

·Sweet and Tangy Apple Slaw

·Mini Decadent Chocolate Brownie

·Utensils & Napkins

·Scenic Winery Location

We invite you to have lunch at one of our picnic tables or winery porch, depending on availability.  Enjoy a wine tasting or a bottle of wine or hand-crafted micro-brew from our winery to have with your lunch. The costs of wine tasting and wine or beer purchases are not included in the cost of the picnic lunch menu.

Grilled Asparagus Wrap with fire roasted tomatoes, lemon-garlic hummus and sprouts. Whole wheat tortilla (vegan)

  Tomato, Basil and Mozzarella Panini with blueberry wine vinaigrette (vegetarian)

    Apple Wood Smoked Roast Beef Sandwich with grilled red onions and horseradish sauce

 Natural Ham and Smith’s Smoked Havarti on a brioche roll with baby field greens and dijonaise

Salami & Pears Baguette with Champagne vinaigrette and Brie Cheese

Smoked Turkey Wrap with sprouts and cranberry apple chutney

Cheese & Charcuterie – $40 for 2 people; $65 for 4 people
Includes three local artisan cheese selections, pate or terrine, sliced sausages, house olives, cornichons, fresh fruit and whole grain mustard. Served with baguette & apple butter.

Please do not call the restaurant to place Picnic Lunch to go orders.  

Orders for the same day must be placed prior to 2:00 pm.  Please allow at least 1 hour from the time of placing your order to the time that you designate for pick up.

When you place your order on-line please be sure to state the date and time you want to pick up your order in the "Notes" section of the on-line ordering process.  The "Notes" section is on the page where you are required to enter your credit card information.  Your orders will be available for pick up at the Wine Shoppe at the time that you specify when placing your order. 

You may also place your order in advance of the day that you want it ready by placing the date in the Notes Section.  If you do not put a date on the order, we will assume that your order is to be prepared on the date that the order is placed except for orders placed on Monday or Tuesday, we will then assume that you want your order prepared for pickup on Wednesday since the restaurant is not open on Monday or Tuesday.
