Over the past years, the popularity of using our site for engagement pictures and wedding pictures has significantly increased and unfortunately some people have taken the liberty of moving furniture and chairs and then leaving them for us to return to their original spot. As a result, we have decided to impose a fee of $100.00 per hour for use of the premises and facilities for picture taking. All appointments must be arranged by emailing us at email@nashobawinery.com. The fee is necessary to cover the cost of providing a staff member to direct and coordinate your shoot. He or she will allow you access into the winery,production area, restaurant(when closed) and other areas open to the public.
Since we are always booking events, sometimes days before they occur, photo shoots will not be available on weekends.
Should you decide to use the property for pictures without using our services, please understand that you will be asked to stop if another person is holding a event, function, wedding or photo shoot. Additionally, you will be expected to leave the property at the time the wine shop closes as our insurance company has put us on notice that we are not allowed to permit people to remain on the premises once our staff has left or is no longer monitoring the property. We open everyday at 10 am and do not allow people on the premises until 15 minutes before we open as we often have task to accomplish and prefer not to have cars or people around especially when we are using our tractors to collect apples and accumulate rubbish from the prior day.
Finally, please understand that we cannot get involved with communicating information about when we might or might not have a function or wedding. If you come to our property to take pictures without an appointment we hope that it will work out for you but we cannot get involve with the process or be held responsible your plans. You are not permitted to move tables, chairs, barrels or other property of the winery without permission and will be asked to leave the premises if our rules are not followed.
