Case Club Membership Rules The purpose of our Case Club Membership is to reward and educate our loyal customers. 1. Joining the Club -- To become a member of the Case Club, an individual must purchase a case of wine (beer and perry are not included) in a single transaction. The case does not have to be all of the same kind of wine. Mixed cases are allowed. Only after purchasing the case does the membership benefits begin. 2. Staying in the Club -- Case Club Membership will be continuous from year to year provided that the member earns at least 200 points during each calendar year. In the event that 200 points are not earned during any calendar year, the membership and points earned will be forfeited. 3. Earning Points -- Members in the Case Club will receive points for all purchases made that have a pre-assigned value at the Winery or Restaurant. (Case club points are NOT given for ANY gift certificate purchases or are not given on purchases where points are used to pay. In addition, you do not receive points on any tax or tip). The number of points received will be approximately equal to one point for each dollar spent by the Member. Each item will be rounded up or down to determine the whole point values. It is the members responsibility to check their receipt upon purchase to make sure that points are correctly reflected. All receipts are printed with the number of points earned with the current purchase and the total number of points earned prior to the current purchase. Nashoba Valley will not correct points or award points for past visits even with proof of purchase. 4. Value of Points -- It is not our intent to imply any monetary or intrinsic value to points. The value of points remains in the absolute discretion of Nashoba Valley Winery. 5. Case Club Events -- Case Club Members are invited by special invitation to attend all Case Club Nights. All events will have a fee associated with the evening’s activities. Members will be allowed to pay the fee with either all cash or all points. Example: A case club event has a fee of $30.00. Any Case Club Member could attend but a Member that has accumulated 300 points may attend for free by redeeming 300 of his or her accumulated points. Additionally, members are allowed to invite guests. However, the member will either have to pay for all of his or her guest with either all cash or all points. Partial credits will not be issued toward the fee nor will purchases made during the event be considered in determining if a Member has sufficient points. 6. “First Tuesday” 10% Discount -- On the first Tuesday of every month, Case Club members will receive a 10% discount off any wine purchased and picked up at the Wine Shoppe during our normal hours of operation. This discount applies ONLY on the first Tuesday of every month. This 10% discount is in addition to our regular discounts offered on wine purchases. In order to receive this discount on the first Tuesday of the month, you must purchase the wine and pick up the wine during our regular wine shoppe hours that day. The wine purchased cannot be held for you to be picked up at a later date. 7. Credits for J’s Restaurant -- If you have a minimum of 500 points, you can exchange 500 points for a $50.00 credit towards your bill when you dine at J’s Restaurant any Wednesday, Thursday or Friday evening except if the Wednesday, Thursday or Friday night is a special nights such as Valentine's Day, NY Eve or special events in which case points cannot be used. Simply email to email@nashobawinery.com with the request for a time and date of your reservation, the number of people in your party, your case club number and the number of points (in 500 unit increments) that you wish to exchange. If the time and date is available we will make your reservation, remove the points from your account and issue a credit that will be available on the night of your reservation. The only catch is that if you cancel your reservation or do not show, your points and credit will be lost.
Unfortunately, the process is not simple as three different programs have to be accessed to reduce the points, issue a credit and make the reservation with the appropriate notations. Your cooperation with and understanding of the process is greatly appreciated. 8. Donate points to charity - Members may contribute their points for products to be donated to charities. Nashoba Valley will forward a gift card or product (Member's Choice) to a charity designated by the member in the amount of $10.00 for every 100 points surrendered by the member. This is a great way for us to support the charities that our members support. To request a donation please e-mail: email@nashobawinery.com 9. Case Club Card -- All Case Club Members will receive a Case Club Card with a membership # on it. These cards must be presented along with a positive I.D. at the time of each purchase to insure both the proper credit of points and to guarantee that the individual purchasing the wine is the Case Club member. Membership privileges are not transferable. 10. Mailing Info -- Please make sure that we always have your correct address. 11 . Rules & Rewards are flexible and modifiable at the discretion of Nashoba Valley -- Case Club Membership points have no monetary or value other that the value assigned by Nashoba Valley. Rules and rewards may be changed, altered, modified or eliminated at any time without any recourse for the point holder. Points are not an obligation of Nashoba to perform or undertake any of the above detailed rewards. |
